108 golfing and rugby enthusiasts got the opportunity to play a round of golf with members of the DHL Stormers squad. The event gave all participants the unique opportunity to interact with the players through fantastic activities on the holes including a DHL chipping competition. Several of the players also joined fourballs to spend the day testing their skills with Club Newlands sponsors and fans.

After a memorable day on the course, it was time to hit the club house for the prize giving dinner hosted by Corne and Twakkie. Whilst all the golfers can be proud of their efforts for the day a big congratulations goes to Kieran Daly, Paul Bester, Roux Burger and Garth Rowe from Taylor Made for going away as victors on the day; also a huge congratulations to all the individual prize winners on the night.

The day was undoubtedly a huge success and a big thanks goes out to all the sponsors and suppliers; Nashua Mobile, Caledon, Powerade, DHL, Spur, SAB, Taylor Made, Adidas, Heart FM, Sunglass Hut, BMW, Digicape, Wellington VO, Builders Express, Jockey and ZTE for their contributions to the day. Thanks of course must also go to all the DHL Stormers players and all our participants in the golf day for their enthusiasm and good spirits throughout.
