Every year Club Newlands provides its Club Newlands Members the opportunity to camp on the DHL Newlands field. Yes, you read it! ON THE FIELD! This family event is one of the most anticipated events on our calendar. Parents bring their kids for a coaching session with Coaching and Development program of the WP Rugby Football Union. As added bonus attendees have the opportunity to meet with the DHL Stormers!

What you need to know!
What to Bring:
Tent (max 4-man freestanding dome tent)
Sleeping Bag or Covers
Warm Clothes (Just in case)
Camping Chair (optional)
FUN and FRIENDLY attitude!
We will Supply:
Braai Packs (pre bookings only)
Cash Bar (NO alcohol may be brought into the stadium, and security at the gate WILL search bags)
Toilets (no showers)
Secure parking in the parking garage opposite the stadium, next to the shop. The garage will be locked for your safety from 20:00 the Friday to 6:30 the next morning. You will not have access to your car during this time.
Safety and Security:
DHL Newlands Rugby Stadium has 24 hour monitored CCTV. For the safety of your children, only demarcated areas of the stadium and pitch will be available for use. Please note this is a family event and underage drinking, alcohol abuse, dangerous games or antics will not be tolerated.
DHL Newlands Rugby Stadium is one of the most exquisite grounds in world rugby. The pitch is extremely sensitive, especially during summer. Please abide by the following rules and regulations:
Pick up your rubbish and discard it in the provided bins.
DO NOT urinate on the pitch- even the smallest children! Urine changes the chemical composition of the soil and it leaves marks on the pitch and affects the growth of the grass!
NO GLASS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE PITCH WHAT SO EVER!
Do not smoke on the pitch.
Do not dig up the grass.
this event is weather permitting and may be cancelled at the discretion of the event organiser’s.
Indemnity forms must be signed prior to the event
No Pets will be allowed.
No open flames will be tolerated, including gas.
Follow these steps to book:
1. Download booking form (please complete all fields in full!)
2. Make payment either via EFT (banking details included on form) or submit your credit card details on the booking form
3. Please fax or email the completed booking for and proof of payment to Shireen@treblegroup.co.za or 021 685 3377
4. A Club Newlands representative will contact you and confirm booking. Further information will be emailed to you.
5. Pre Registration will take place over 3 days prior to the event.
