Germans ascend upon DHL Newlands!

What an amazing feeling it is to know that supporters come all the way from Germany to support the DHL Stormers. Yes, Achim Otten and Lutz Machau came 14 000 kilometres across Africa just to watch The DHLStormers take on the Cheifs in the first Super Rugby home game at DHL Newlands for 2013.

Achim and Lutz first experienced a rugby game in 2012 and fell head over heels in love with the game and namely the DHL Stormers. They taught themselves the rules and now fully understand the game. These 2 rugby fanatics were treated to the Club Newlands members lounge of which they shared in the #supergees of the #stormsaam crowded seated in the railway stand. The 2 German spectators not only witnessed a 30 000 plus crowd but also a massive win over the current Super Rugby champions the Chiefs.

The 2 German citizens make a note of diligently following the DHL Stormers team via streaming internationally  and ensuring they keep themselves updated via the new stories.

They have committed to Club Newlands that they will bring alive our club whilst in Germany and get as many possible supporters for us. Club newlands has committed to keep them updated on all our events and even send them promotional items from time to time.

We wish our new German supporters – who have signed up to Club Newlands as members a safe trip back and "DANKE" for all your support.
