Province already reeling from injuries, suffered further losses this weekend with prop Steven Kitshoff out for 4 weeks and scrumhalf Nick groom for 2-3 weeks, both with knee injuries. Coetzee confirmed there are 11 current injuries.

Flyhalf has been particularly hard hit and this weekend the game claimed another with Dollie expected to miss the next game with an ankle injury. On the positive side, Lionel Cronje came through a club game and is training and Kurt Coleman will get some game time with the U21’s this week. Michael Van Der Spuy is another option. Louis Schreuder will make the step up as scrumhalf cover also providing an option to utilise Duvenage at 10.

Pieter Louw returns to practice this week although he will not yet take full contact. Katrakilis and Whitehead are still expected to be out for 2-3 weeks.
