The Vodacom Western Province age group teams again were in impressive form on Saturday when they beat their opponents from the Blue Bulls at Newlands in their respective Absa national competiions.
The Blue Bulls u.21-side lost 27-16 to a WP side that used their opportunities better and had a goal kicker who had his kicking boots on.
Trailing 11-6 at the break, the Blue Bulls came back strongly in the second half, with strong winger Deon Helberg scoring twice, but the home side pulled away in the final minutes.

Earlier, the Vodacom WP under-19 side handed the Blue Bulls u.19-side their first defeat in the competition after winning 22-17.
The home side had a 9-0 lead at the break and extended that to 19-0 with two tries, one of which an intercept, but then the young Blue Bulls started a remarkable comeback.
They scored three tries to guarantee a bonus point out of the loss and were attacking strongly in the last seconds of the match, but ran out of time to secure a win.
